Yesterday, over 70 passionate professionals from the urban and social domain came together during our “Be Bold Join the Change” event. During this event, we launched the Clearly.Hub: a platform that makes it easier to tackle societal challenges by connecting data, applications and collaborations. We inspired the attendees with future-oriented solutions for the complex issues we face.
The energy was palpable: there is a movement going on, a movement for and by urban innovators. A movement that affects both the private and public sectors and where connection and collaboration are the key to success.
As Barbara Visser (CEO Movares and former Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management), keynote speaker at this event, aptly said: “The Netherlands is going to get stuck, already this summer in the big cities. The solution lies in data. The ecosystem must be open and transparent, and it is important that you show courage. Let us all share our data as much as possible to be able to tackle these social issues!”
Together with our partners: Jeroen van de Wiel, Joep Grispen, Hedi van Dijk, Corné Helmons, Jeroen Borst, Bart Vuijk, Kevin Otjes, Marjolein Pauly, Tom van de Ven and Nicolas Samuel Mercier we showed inspiring and concrete practical examples. Thanks for your contributions and insights that you have given the audience.
We would like to thank everyone who made this event a success. Special thanks to Roland van der Heijden and Albert van Holthoon for their valuable insights and inspiration on how to get an organization involved in this movement. We also thank the DMI ecosystem for making the location available and all visitors for their presence, involvement and active contribution. Let us continue to advance, maintain and expand the movement together.
