Accelerating the energy transition together: TenneT chooses Clearly.Projects in the DON Oost project

Last week, we celebrated the launch of an important partnership! We welcomed TenneT as a new customer. They selected Clearly.Projects as their online collaboration platform for the Drenthe-Overijssel Grid Reinforcement (DON East) project.
This is a crucial program for strengthening the electricity grid in Northwest Overijssel and Southwest Drenthe. The scale of the project and the various parties and disciplines involved, including the construction of new 110 kV cable connections and the expansion of substations, require a platform that guarantees scalable collaboration and data management.
Over the past few months, we've been working closely with TenneT to understand their specific processes surrounding changes, stakeholders, plots of land, and studies, and to integrate them into a customized solution within Clearly.Projects. This customized approach allows us to integrate the information needs and working methods of the various departments, which currently often work with disparate systems, into a single, uniform digital environment.
In the DON Oost project, a collaboration between TenneT , Enexis and Rendo , Clearly.Projects will become the central collaboration platform for:
Clearly recording agreements at plot level (ZRO, ownership, access, contact moments and points of interest).
Providing visual insight into research results and environmental data (cables & pipes, zoning plans) at locations on the map.
Ensuring interdisciplinary and data-driven work .
Integration with other sources is essential for staying current. Clearly.Projects uses the route designs created by Sweco for this purpose. This ensures that data remains at the source and can be reliably accessed within the platform.
Together with TenneT and Sweco, we are committed to making this project a success. We are convinced that our integrated project management tool for the living environment provides the necessary overview for energy transition projects. We see this commitment as the prelude to a broader and successful implementation of Clearly.Projects to accelerate the energy transition.
