Do you have an affinity for data, geo, infrastructure, BIM, or 3D? And are you an inquisitive 3rd- or 4th-year student of Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration (or a related field)? Do you want to discover how complex spatial and digital projects are structured behind the scenes and gain valuable practical experience alongside experienced project managers?

At Future Insight, starting in February, you will have the opportunity to observe, actively participate, and/or complete your graduation project as a Project Management Intern within our team!

Two colleagues from Future Insight, a man and a woman, sit smiling at a conference table with project documents during a team meeting.

What will you be doing during your project management internship?

As a Project Management Intern, you will support our project managers on various challenging projects. You will be responsible for:

  • Streamlined project management: You assist with drafting a flawless project schedule, reporting, progress monitoring, and administrative project tasks.

  • Client and team contact: You attend meetings with clients (such as government agencies, engineering firms, and contractors) and our project team, contribute ideas regarding content and process, and help facilitate the team optimally.

  • Commercial support: You will learn how quotations and tender submissions are prepared and actively contribute ideas on how we can capitalize on new opportunities with our clients.

Internship or graduation?

  • During a work placement: You actively participate in the daily operational project practice.

  • During a graduation internship: You focus primarily on your graduation research and also participate in operational activities.

What we offer

At Future Insight, you will become part of a young, enthusiastic, and driven team. You will work on exceptional projects for leading clients and be given the space to contribute your ideas and creativity. We believe in freedom and personal responsibility, with a focus on results. In addition, we offer:

✅ An inspiring work environment within a fast-growing software company.

✅ An educational and challenging internship where you truly contribute to the further professionalization of our project management and, consequently, of our company.

✅ Flexible working hours and the possibility to work hybrid.

✅ A competitive internship allowance of €600 gross per month.

Who are you?

We are looking for a proactive and organized intern with a curious, analytical, and eager-to-learn attitude. You derive energy from organizing projects and enjoy working on optimizing our project management process.

  • You are a 3rd- or 4th-year HBO or WO student (e.g., Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, and Business Administration or a related field).

  • You work in a quality- and result-oriented manner, are good at structuring processes, and always maintain an overview.

  • You are independent, customer-oriented, and results-driven.

  • You are a true team player and facilitate the project team optimally.

  • You have an affinity with our target groups and market (such as government agencies and contractors) and a strong interest in digitalization, data, Geo, BIM, 3D, and technology.

  • You have strong communication skills in Dutch and English, are eager to learn, and are not afraid to take ownership of your tasks and projects.

We are Future Insight, and we believe that smart collaboration with the right tools makes projects successful. We are the leading software developer for projects in the living environment! Our core values: Result-oriented, Innovative, Trust, and Authentic form the foundation of our company culture and how we collaborate with each other and with clients. Within our company, there is an open, dynamic atmosphere where we enjoy learning, improving, and innovating.

We are a fast-growing organization. Our clients are located both domestically and internationally and primarily include government bodies, engineering firms, and contractors. Examples include organizations such as Heijmans and TenneT, but also the Municipalities of Groningen and The Hague, as well as the European Union (where we are working on various European digitalization and standardization projects).

We offer you the opportunity to become part of our team and contribute to the success of our projects with your expertise. At Future Insight, we offer a competitive salary (or a market-rate internship allowance), excellent employment conditions, and flexible working hours.
